Hi my name is Sophie and this is my animation about the Rocky Shore and Something in the Water. I picked a crab to animate. A crab has a hard shell of the outside and lots of legs. It lives on the rocky shore. Crabs like to eat mussels. Mussels are the prey of a crab. Seagulls like to eat crabs. Seagulls are the predator of a crab. this is my food web and it shows the creatures that eat other creatures. Plankton are tiny creatures that get eaten by small sea animals. Thanks for watching my animation.

one day there was a boy called Sam and he decided to go on a bike ride so he asked his grandpa if he can get drooped of at the forest and so they go to the forest and then Sam rides his bike for 7 km and he stopped because he found a cliff but that cliff had the rest of the foot path. So he had to chose to cheap going or to go back the way he came. and he chose to go the way he came. and this was a 5 min writing task so i couldn't do as much correct words.

One day there was a ninja and that ninja was a mouse and the ninja mouse was in a bad mode.today and that mouse was going nuts so he went out of his house and got past the cat and got a bit of string and scatted a long the house.Until he found a mouse trap and he tide his string onto a cot hangar and then tide it to his self and jumped.Got the cheese and then he was a happy chappy.

one day their was a person that didn't have a licence and was driving around the back yard and did not see the big pool and drove into the pool and had to hop out of the the car quickly and Luckily the pool didn't have a lot of pricier on the car door and then he was able to get out.

Today we worked in our DMIC groups to solve this problem.When you find a fraction of a number, the thing you need to do is divide the number by the denominator.

First we worked out that 105 divided by 7 was 15. Most of us drew 7 circles, we counted in 10s 7 times and then in 5s and that made 105, which left in each group.

The next step is to take the number 15, and times by the numerator, which was 4.

15x4=60.

The answer is 60.

60 mussels could be taken by fisherman - 4/7 of 105 is 60 mussels

Something in the water

Today we learned about sea life. Did you know that there was a shark called a megalodona?.And in winter the water is very very cold that when you hop out of the water your legs will be red.

The Bullet Train

On Tuesday me and my family went to the new bullet train early in the morning at 1am! when we got to the train station I saw the bullet train. It was so shiny and I liked the color of it. It was also 10 cars long. When we got in the train we felt it move and then it went 400 km and then another 400 km and another 400 km. Mum and I felt like we were going to be sick and we stopped because the bullet train ran out of gas. We had to walk back to the train station and it was boring while walking back. I said to mum it was fun and cool. “Let’s do it again!” Mum said. “No!!!.”

today with miss west we learned how much millimetres are in 1 centimetre and how much centimetres is in 1 kilometres. 

DMIC 1 week 1

yesterday we did some DMIC task then we had to metres  how many meters by seeing how much dry  spaghetti 

 can fit beside the big ruler. Me and my group metres 4 dry spaghetti and that metres 1 meter.

Today in maths we were learning to find a fraction of a number. The fraction was 2/6 and the number was 366. I think that next time I could do better at sharing my ideas with my group. i am new about this stuff  but i am getting better each day.
